President Obama plans to sign an executive order Monday lifting restrictions on federal funding for embryonic stem cell research, in the latest reversal of his predecessor's policies.
The move fulfills a campaign promise, and supporters say it will open up a broad front of research to find better treatments for ailments from diabetes to Parkinson's disease.
The evil bible thumping Bush ended federal funding of embryonic stem cell research. Bush did not ban the study of embryonic stem cells, he simply stated if there is a company out there that belives there is a future in embryonic stem cells you are free to fund the study. The tax payers were releived of the burden of paying for the killing of embryos.
Sickos on the left have an obsession with killing babies and embryos. I do not agree with abortion and I do not think it is moral. I wish they would ban abortion but until they do I do not think tax payers should be responsible for footing the bill.
