Sussex County starts online suggestion box
Sussex County residents can share their observations and suggestions with county officials on a new online suggestion box found on the county website. Suggestions can be sent anonymously or with an email contact for follow-up information. For now, all suggestions will end up at the computer of Chip Guy, chief of public information, who will forward comments to County Administrator David Baker.
Councilwoman Joan Deaver, D-Rehoboth Beach, said "I do not want suggestions and comments filtered and wanted to see them all as submitted".
Council President Vance Phillips, R-Laurel, said the policy would stand with Baker as the recipient of the suggestions. “Let’s see how it goes, and we can make adjustments in the future.”
To submit a comment, go to sussexcountyde.gov and select the “Online Suggestion Box” icon displayed on the bottom right corner of the main page
