Like many I watch the daily cost of a barrel of oil. Like many I have noticed the price continues to fall. Like many I also noticed the price for a gallon of fuel continues to rise.
WHY?
The local price is rapidly approaching $2.00/gallon as the price of a barrel of oil is rapidly falling toward $30/barrel.
Here is today price:
Nymex Crude Future 34.60 -.33 -.94
Maybe Mr. Markell has something to say about this? I will be calling his office to request they lower the State tax rate on a gallon of fuel. With the economy the way it is we need all the help we can get. I am sure Mr. Markell does not want to see another Delawarean lose their job.
