Last night we as Republicans were screwed by 3 RINO's, Specter, Snowe, and Collins. I often wonder what makes some of these people do the things they do. Why would Specter, Snowe, and Collins be so willing to pole vault across the aisle and cozy up to the Dems that have sworn to defeat them. I have a logical explanation, Reid and Pelosi have promised to keep the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee off their back during the next election cycle.
In case you don’t know what the DCCC is, they are a committee that selects the person(s) that will run against Republicans in the elections. They committee is ran by people like Rahm Emmanuel. The committee runs the vetting process and selects “the best candidate” to run in Republican districts. They have been pretty successful in the last 2 elections.
Considering all 3 of the sell outs are in Democratic strong holds they have to be very concerned about their future political career. It only makes sense that in order to get “bipartisan” support for the Spendulus bill Harry Reid would make some kind of shady deal with these clowns. If I know Reid, and I know Reid, he had his fingers crossed behind his back as he was making the deal. The sooner the Republicans realize the Dems play to win, the better off we would all be. I just hope the Democrats are able to find very strong candidates to run against and defeat these 3. I am sick of their liberal ways and I am ready for them to get out of my party. When our elected officials stop working for us and are ONLY concerned about their reelection, they need to get out of office.
We are at a pivotal point in the democracy, the complacency phase, and we cannot afford anyone in our party that is not 100% committed to our Constitution. Typically democracies only last 200-300 years. We are there folks, we have to elect people that love this democracy, not people that want to change it into a European country.
